Title: Fool
Pairing: Kamenashi x Ueda [friendship]
Rating: G/PG
Genre: Friendship, Humour? Fluff?

Summary: Backstage before filming of Shounen Club sometime in 2002 (?)
Disclaimer: I own nothing but the plot.
A/N: I wrote this quickly this morning and I wrote it foruepixie because we both need some cheering up due to sickness. I had no idea what to write but I knew I wanted to write something and this silly thing is what came out. I hope you’ll enjoy it sweetie and that you (and I) will soon get better and be able to spread sparkles all over the place again ♥
Ueda stared at nothing in particular as he let his minds wander to other places than the dressing room filled with fellow juniors. Noisy juniors excited about today’s Shounen Club filming. He was kind of excited too but if he showed it than it would ruin the image he had currently given himself.
“Are you okay?” Kame’s face suddenly appeared in front of his eyes and brought him back from where he had disappeared to for a moment.
“Yes, Kamenashi-kun” Ueda said trying to look over Kame’s shoulder for no real reason. “I’m fine”
“Good” Kame smiled and then turned his head around. “What are you looking at?”
“Don’t you see it?” Ueda asked back as an idea suddenly started to form in his mind.
“No, what?” Kamenashi turned his head back briefly giving Ueda a curious and confused look before turning back.
“You can’t see the fairy flying over there by Taguchi’s shoulder?” Ueda smirked behind Kame's head but his lips formed into a straight line as soon as Kamenashi stared at him with big, surprised eyes.
“You can see fairies?” Kame’s voice came out low and awed.
“Yes” Ueda nodded. “Oh look now she’s flying over to Tanaka-kun and Fujigaya-kun”
Kame looked completely awestruck. “Really?”
“Yes, but let’s keep this a secret okay?” Ueda let his eyes wander across the room as if he was following the fairy with his gaze. “I’ve never told this to anyone yet and-“
“I promise” Kame nodded eagerly and sat down next to Ueda. “Can you tell me more about it?”
Ueda tried to fight back a smile and almost managed. “Sure”
When they was called to get into the studio fifteen minutes later Ueda had told in a low voice all about how he as a 8 year old had first seen a fairy, how often he saw them and what they really looked like. Kame had been listening with his eyes sparkling and Ueda had no doubt that he had actually been able to fool him. He just hoped that when Kame realized that he had just fooled him that it wouldn’t end like that time a while back. He really didn’t want to admit it but it had hurt really badly when Kame’s fist hit his chin and just thinking about it made him want to wince in pain.
