Title: The Day After
Pairing: Akame

Summary: It’s the day after and both Jin and Kame are sporting big smiles and feelings of extreme happiness.

reel_johnny fic (I’ve only written about a 1/5 of it I think so I’m slightly stressed DX).

The day after Jin was found skipping down the halls of the agency building with a big grin on his face that reached his eyes while whistling to some random cheerful tune. He felt amazing. He felt like he was a new man, but still the same. He felt like he had been reborn as himself the day before. It felt like he was on the top of the world and nothing could push him off the top.
“What’s up with you?” Ryo asked as Jin ran into him and Yamapi in the hallways on his way to KAT-TUN’s room.
“What do you mean?” Jin tilted his head in slight confusion but his smile never left his face.
“You’re awfully cheerful for someone who hates early mornings” Ryo eyed him with suspicion.
“I’m just happy to be alive” Jin beamed. “That’s no crime, right?”
“Of course not” Yamapi smiled. “But it’d be nice if you told us why you’re so happy to be alive”
“Can’t do. Because I’m not one to kiss and tell” Jin said slowly walking backwards away from them with a teasing smile “I gotta go now. Bye, bye”
He turned around and then started to run down the halls leaving a bewildered duo behind.
That same day Kame was found limping when he walked into the agency. His whole body was sore but he couldn’t help but smile anyway. He felt alive in a way that he had never really felt before. He was beyond happy and even though his body was aching in a way he had never experienced before. The night before might not have been the best in his life, but it had been a magic night and he knew that with time future nights like that would be more amazing and magic.
“What’s happened to you?” Koki asked when Kame entered the dressing room and noticed the way Kame was limping.
“I just fell and landed on my butt” Kame replied, managing to control his blush as he sought eye contact with Jin and got it. They shared a smile.
“It must’ve been one hell of a fall” Koki came up to him, eyeing him with a tint of concern in his eyes. “Does it hurt much? Will you be able to dance?”
“Yes. It’s nothing to worry about. It’s nothing that I can’t handle” Kame answered walking pass Koki to join Jin on the couch. He winced slightly as he sat down on the not so soft couch.
“Here” Jin said handing Kame a pillow with a slightly apologetic smile. “Sorry”
“Don’t apologize” Kame mumbled but smiled nonetheless as he took the pillow and placed it underneath him. “It’s not entirely your fault and we shouldn’t talk about this at work”
“Sorry” Jin said again before glancing around the room. When he noticed that no one seemed to pay them any attention at the moment he placed a hand on Kame’s shoulder and leaned in to whisper in Kame’s ear.
“Last night was amazing”
The hot puffs of air hitting Kame’s skin made him shiver and he blushed slightly. His eyes darted around the room for a second before he placed his hand on top of Jin’s that was still lying on his shoulder. He squeezed Jin’s hand softly and smiled.
