Summary: Ueda’s in a bad mood and Taguchi might be the reason behind it.

A/N: My second fiction with Junda as main pairing. This one is set in the same universe as my first one, which you can read here. You don’t need to have read that one before reading this one though.
Ueda dropped his tray with lunch down with a slam, almost making some of his coffee spill over the edge of the cup.
“What’s wrong?” Kamenashi asked and looked up from his own food.
“Nothing” Ueda snapped at the younger student. “Why do you think anything’s wrong?”
“You almost spilled your coffee and you’re snappy” Kamenashi replied before he took another bite of his tuna sandwich.
“Well you’re wrong” Ueda frowned and started taking mini bites of his own sandwich. “Nothing’s wrong with me”
“If you say so” Kamenashi gave him a crooked smile. “But just so you know…” He reached out a hand and put it on top of Ueda’s hand on the table. “If you ever feel like you need to vent your frustration over Taguchi, then I am all ears”
“Why would I need that?” Ueda glared and drew his hand away from Kame’s hand.
“I’m just saying that I’m here for you” Kamenashi said. “I mean, I if anyone should know about stupid boyfriends.”
“I don’t have a boyfriend.” Ueda huffed but Kamenashi just gave him a soft smile and then continued on with his lunch.
Ueda’s mood didn’t change and he continued on with snapping at pretty much anyone, his professors being the only exception. So it was with a sour mood that Ueda made it back to his dorm room and locked himself inside. He really didn’t feel like spending time with anyone, least of all Taguchi the stupid boy with the most beautiful smile and twinkling eyes. No, he absolutely not wanted to see him.
He had been sitting by his desk for an hour trying to focus on his studies and not letting his mind travel when there was a knock on the door. He knew just by the sound of the knocking who it was and tried to ignore it. Maybe if he pretended he wasn’t there the other would leave him alone.
“Uepi, I know you’re in there!” Taguchi’s voice came from the other side of the thin door. “You know I have excellent hearing and also, Kamenashi said you locked yourself in”
Ueda cursed his junior for meddling with his private life. What right did he have to tell Taguchi something like that?
“Go away Taguchi” Ueda shouted back and then covered his ears with his hands.
“Are you mad at me?” Taguchi asked, or at least it sounded like it. Ueda couldn’t be sure since he was covering his ears and it muffled out every sound. He didn’t reply however and just let himself fall forward to rest his upper body over his books, still covering his ears. Maybe Taguchi would give up soon and get the hint to leave him alone.
Taguchi continued to call out for Ueda a few more minutes before he seemed to have given up. Ueda sighed in relief as there were no more sounds coming from the other side of the door and then continued on with trying to study. His peace was interrupted once again though just a few minutes later by a scratching sound. Ueda turned around in his chair with confusion. It sounded like someone was trying to unlock his door from the outside. He got up from his chair and walked up to the door. When he opened it he found Taguchi kneeling in front of the door with a piece of wire in his hand. He looked up at Ueda with a goofy smile plastered on his face.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Ueda glared down at him. It wasn’t often he was the one having to turn his face downwards to look into the other’s eyes.
“You wouldn’t let me in and I really wanted to give you this” Taguchi explained, still smiling and picked up a small package from the behind his back.
Ueda’s eyes widen in slight fear and he grabbed a hold of Taguchi’s shoulder to yank him inside the room. Taguchi fell face forward down on the floor and just barely managed to not smash the small package.
“Ouch that kind of hurt” Taguchi said and got up from the floor. He didn’t seem to be in much pain though since he was smiling.
“You’re too reckless” Ueda muttered and then gave the package a curious look. “What is that?”
“Your anniversary present of course” Taguchi held it out with both his hands to Ueda. “You didn’t think I’d forgotten about our 3 month anniversary, did you?”
Ueda accepted the present but he felt really stupid. He had thought that Taguchi had forgotten and now he felt guilty for wishing all kind of bad things happening to him during the day.
“Oh, you did” Taguchi laughed and leaned over to plant a kiss on Ueda’s forehead. “Well then I guess this will be an even better surprise. Open it”
“You’re not mad at me?” Ueda asked surprised. He shouldn’t be though because this was Mr Unpredictable himself standing in front of him. Well some things were predictable about him, like he would easily lose himself in a TV game or tell bad puns, but most things wasn’t.
“Of course not” Taguchi laughed again and this time he ruffled Ueda’s hair affectingly. Ueda’s hand instinctively flew up to flatten his hair again.
“Now, go ahead and open it” Taguchi said and sat down on the bed.
“But I didn’t get you anything” Ueda looked down at the present in his hand.
“It’s okay. You can thank me with a blowjob or something” Taguchi grinned as he leaned back on his arms and spread his legs slightly.
“Pervert.” Ueda grinned back. “We’ll have to see if this present will be worth something that exclusive first”
He sat back down on his chair and untied the ribbon that was decorating the package. He opened the small box and was surprised to find a cup cake with green icing and a chocolate heart on top of it.
“Do you like it?” Taguchi asked excitingly. “I made it myself. Well, Kamenashi had to teach me first but that one I made all myself.”
“You did this?” Ueda looked up at Taguchi for a short second only to look back at the cake again. This guy really never failed to amaze him.
“Yeah, so is it good enough?” Taguchi grinned and spread his legs a little wider.
“I think it might be” Ueda grinned back and placed the cake on the table before he walked over to Taguchi. “It might even be worth something more exclusive”
“I’m happy” Taguchi beamed and took a hold of Ueda’s waist and pulled him into his lap. Ueda couldn’t help but let out a soft chuckle but he was quickly silenced by Taguchi’s mouth indulging him in a hungry kiss.

Anyway, Junno was so sweet making a cupcake for Ueda for their 3 month-anniversary. An I'm glad it was Kame making an appearance this time! (Loved how Kame mentioned that he got a stupid bf as well, lol)
