holly_berri and based on this picture prompt. Happy Birthday Sweetie! *hugs* I hope you will enjoy this and that it will make you smile ♥
If anyone else wants to request something from me, just post a pairing and a picture prompt (the picture can be on anything) and I will see what I can do about it ^^
Tegoshi couldn’t hold back his laughter so he just let it flow out of him like the soft waves currently hitting his legs. Kame looked over at him from the other horse and gave him a lopsided smile before he joined in on the laughter. This really wasn’t what they had expected from their afternoon…
It didn’t turn out that romantic in the end though; the first thing spoiling it was that since they had close to no experience about horse riding they weren’t allowed to ride by themselves. They were therefore assigned a guide. The guide was a tall, muscular black man who only spoke French. It wouldn’t be that bad to have a guide riding in front of them Tegoshi had thought, it would still be kind of romantic. However it turned out that the man wouldn’t ride on a horse, he would lead their horses by walking in between them. When they found out they almost backed out of it but the man looked too kind and kind of excited so they didn’t have the heart to in the end.
Their ride was rather uneventful for the first half an hour. The horses walked peacefully along the sea shore and the sound of the waves hitting land was calming. They didn’t speak much just shared smiles and the man between them seemed to be in his own thoughts. Suddenly though, the man had asked them something in French. Something neither of them understood but it didn’t sound like anything bad so they nodded at him in reply. He smiled back at them and then he started to lead the horses further out into the water. Kame’s eyes bugged out and he quickly turned to look at Tegoshi.
“What’s he doing?” He asked.
“I have no idea” Tegoshi replied as he felt how water started to splash up against his bare legs.
They fell silent for a moment as they really couldn’t do anything at this situation, and the man and the horses seemed calm. The man didn’t stop walking until the water was reaching up to his chin and then he turned the horse to the side and started to swim. This whole thing was bizarre. Tegoshi had never seen anything like this before and that’s when he had started laughing and Kame joined him.
They didn’t stop laughing for a long time and when they finally did they were both panting heavily and grins were still plastered on their faces.
“This is-“ Kame tried to catch his breath,
“Yeah” Tegoshi agreed even if he wasn’t really sure what Kame had tried to say. He looked down at the man in the water again and then he leaned out of his saddle. Kame was quick to catch on with what he was doing and leaned over as well. They met in the middle, their lips crashing into each other as they shared a kiss. They both chuckled into the kiss. This might not have turned out to be the most romantic thing they’d ever experience but it was for sure something that they’d never forget.

Kame was kind of a romantic so it hadn’t surprised Tegoshi that much when he had suggested that they’d go horse riding. He had seen the advertisement for it down in the hotel lobby already on the day they first arrived at the Caribbean island. Tegoshi had agreed with it right away, because, well Kame seemed really eager and if he was honest he had always kind of dreamt about ride along the sea shore with someone he loved. It didn’t turn out that romantic in the end though; the first thing spoiling it was that since they had close to no experience about horse riding they weren’t allowed to ride by themselves. The man in the water looked up at them as they continued on laughing. He seemed slightly uncomfortable and didn’t seem to understand what was so funny. They didn’t stop laughing for a long time and when they finally did they were both panting heavily and grins were still plastered on their faces.
