Akame Drabble
Title: Spot On
Pairing: Akame
Genre: fluff, humour?
Rating: PG
Summary: Something in Kame’s appearance gets the attention of his younger brother and one of his older ones. (Bad summary!)
Word count: 784
Disclaimer: I own nothing but the plot.
A/N: Another drabble from me with Jin and Kame as juniors. In my head they’re like 15 and 17 or maybe a bit older. Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy reading this since I kind of re-wrote it a few times before posting XD
”What’s that on your neck?” Yuya asked as he pushed back some hair from Kame’s neck to see it more clearly.
“What’s what?” Kame asked back as he let go of the plate he was washing and removed his hands from the kitchen zinc to touch his own neck.
“That mark. It looks like something’s bitten you” Yuya answered and Kame quickly pushed his brother away and covered his neck with his own hands.
“It’s nothing. Don’t worry” He stressed and then threw a glare in the direction of Jin who was sitting by the kitchen table chuckling. Stupid Jin hand planted a mark on him last night even though Kame had told him directly not to do so.
“But it looks really bad” Yuya said slightly confused over his brother’s antics. “Are you sure it’s nothing to worry about. Maybe we should have mum take a look at it”
“NO!” Kame shrieked and startled both Yuya and Jin but Kame really didn’t want his mother to see it. He would never be able to lie to her face and he wasn’t ready to come out just yet. He still was confused about what it was he and Jin had started, even if he was sure he liked Jin a lot and that he liked making out with him.
“I mean no.” Kame said his voice back to normal. “It’s no need to worry mum unnecessarily. I’m sure it’ll be gone soon. It’s probably a big mosquito bite”
“Really?” Yuya was a bit sceptical.
“Yes, now please drop it” Kame pleaded, his hands still securely around his neck. “Go and play with something”
“Okay” Yuya said and backed out from the kitchen but kept on looking at his older brother. Kame couldn’t blame him since he was probably acting kind of strange in his brother eyes.
“Stupid you” Kame hissed as soon as he heard Yuya making his way up the stairs and threw a sponge filled with water right at Jin, hitting him in the chest. “I told you not to!”
“But I couldn’t resist!” Jin protested as he stopped chuckling and picked the sponge up from his lap where it had ended up. He didn’t seem bothered at all by the big wet spot on his t-shirt.
“Do you want to be found out?” Kame glared at him and then gracefully managed to catch the sponge Jin threw back at him.
“It would make things easier…” Jin replied slightly hesitant.
“But I’m not ready!” Kame said dropping the sponge back in the water.
“Ready for what?” Yuichiro’s voice came from the doorway and Kame spun around quickly to face his older brother.
“How much did you hear?” He asked in slight panic.
“Just the last sentence” his brother replied and Kame let out a discreet sigh of relief.
“So what is it you’re not ready for yet?” Yuichiro repeated his question.
“Just our upcoming performance” Jin answered before Kame could say anything. “He’s saying that he for sure is going to mess up his dance steps”
“Oh, don’t worry little brother” Yuichiro said and patted Kame on the shoulder before he opened the refrigerator and picked out an apple. “I’m sure you’ll be fine.”
“Thanks” Kame replied but he it wasn’t really his brother he was thanking but rather Jin for coming up with such a good white lie.
“No probs” Yuichiro smiled making his way out of the kitchen again but he turned back around in the door way. “And little brother?”
“Yeah?” Kame asked confused over the grin his brother was now sporting.
“You should really try to cover up that love bite on your neck before mum spots it” his brother said and then quickly rushed out of Kame’s sight before he could process what had just been said.
“Jin?” Kame then said when the words had sunk in and turned to look at Jin who now looked slightly alarmed.
“Yes, Kazu-chan?” Jin gulped.
“You’re going to come with me to buy some concealer later” Kame replied with a soft smile and Jin looked at him with confusion. He had clearly awaited something else, some kind of punishment. Kame had thought about that too but he knew that he would never be able to go a day without a kiss from Jin, so a ban from that wouldn’t have worked.
“Sure” Jin shrugged.
“But you’re paying for it.” Kame then added as an afterthought. After all Jin deserved some kind of punishment for getting his older brother yet another thing to tease him about.
Jin didn’t reply to that. He just brought out his wallet and started to count his money while Kame went back to doing the dishes.
