Akame drabble

Disclaimer: I own nothing but the plot.
A/N: I wrote this as an attempt to cure my slight writers block, and I think it did. I picked the word from my dictionary, again, and the idea for this came right away. It’s really silly though, and they’re juniors here. I imagine this is sometime around 2000. I hope you all will enjoy reading this sweetness (^___^)
Kame gaped with confusion at the round piece of cardboard painted in yellow with felt pen that Jin was holding out to him. It was dangling from the hand with a red strap and the words “best friend” was written across the cardboard.
“What is that?” he asked looking up from the yellow thing to meet Jin’s face. The older one was grinning like a fool at him.
“A gold medal of course” Jin replied, the grin still in place as he rolled his eyes slightly at Kame.
“A gold medal?” Kame looked at the thing dangling from Jin’s hand and moving slightly in soft spring breeze. Now that Jin mentioned it, the thing really did kind of look like a medal.
“Yeah” Jin nodded in confirmation as he moved closer to Kame and made an attempt to put the medal around the younger ones neck.
“What for?” Kame lifted his hands to stop Jin from what he was doing.
“Because you deserve one” Jin made a new attempt and this time Kame let him put it on him. Jin stepped back a little when he was done and looked at Kame with a bright smile.
“You deserve a gold medal for being the best best friend in the world” Jin reached out a hand and patted the piece of paper to make it lie flatter against Kame’s chest.
“I’m not” Kame couldn’t prevent himself from blushing as he looked down and lifted up the medal to take a closer look at it.
“Yes you are” Jin replied back stubbornly. “If I’d money enough I would have gotten you a real one, but this one will have to do for now”
“If I deserve this then you really deserves one too” Kame looked up at Jin, but he was still holding on to the medal as if it was really precious to him. His face was still sporting a nice shade of pink.
“I’ll guess you’ll have to get me one then” Jin smirked and then pinched Kame’s pink cheek. “And I will have to get you a new one for being the most adorable best friend as well”
“Shut up! I’m not adorable” Kame swatted Jin’s hand away from his face and glared at his friend. “I take it back. You don’t deserve a medal at all”
“But Kazu~” Jin started to whine as Kame walked away, and he followed him close behind. “I want my medal! You can’t just say you’re going to get me one and then take it back. It’s not fair!”
Kame just ignored Jin’s pleas as they walked into the park but he knew himself good enough to know that later when he got back home he would spend the whole evening making a medal for Jin. He would make Jin one because he really was the best of best friends.

They are totally cute, specially in their Chibi-selves... OMG, Kame is truly the most adorable
