[Akame One shot] Chaperon

Title: Chaperon
Paring: Akame
Genre: Romance, fluff
Rating: PG/PG-13
Word count: 1170
Summary: Sometimes it’s great to have female friends.
Disclaimer: I own nothing, might not even own the plot.
A/N: This is totally inspired by this rumour which I just read about a week ago about Jin and Lizzy. I wanted to make it more Akame and so this happened. Just to make sure that there will be no misunderstandings or something like that I want to say that I got this idea before I read through the comments in that post. There is a comment made by [livejournal.com profile] kwiii  that is pretty much exactly like this story, just in a lot fewer words. Great minds think alike, right? ;P
So, with that said I now want to dedicate this story both to [livejournal.com profile] kwiii  and to [livejournal.com profile] tesshimassu even though I don’t know any of you. It’d be kind of nice to become friends though and I hope that if you read this that you all will enjoy it ♥

As soon as Kame got into the hotel room he took of his shoes, threw his coat, scarf and bag on an armchair and then made himself comfortable on the big bed in the middle of the room. He lied still on the bed for a moment while thinking about whether or not he should remove some of the clothes he was wearing. He decided against it. He quite enjoyed taking things slow sometimes, and still being fully dressed when the other arrived would definitely make things go a little slower. He got off the bed again and walked over to his bag to get the book he had brought with him and to get his reading glasses. He also took out his phone and sent away a message with the room number. He didn’t know for how long he’d have to wait but hopefully it wouldn’t be too long. Jin had said he’d try to get there before midnight.

Jin cursed under his breath as he saw how much the time was. It was already way past midnight. He would have to try and get everybody moving. He leaned in and whispered something in Lizzy’s ear and she gave him a smile and a nod. Together they were able to get everyone, including a very drunk Ryo to start moving and get out of the club. Once out the club they started walking towards another club but they had only gotten half way before Jin grabbed Lizzy’s arm and stopped her.
“We should say goodbye to the others here” he said and she nodded before he turned to everyone else. “Everyone?! We’re not coming with you to the next place”
“Your loss” Ryo replied drunkenly. His voice coming out slightly slurred and then a silly grin spread over his lips. A grin told Jin that Ryo, despite his obvious drunken state, knew exactly what was up. If Yamapi had been with them than he would most likely have sported the same kind of grin “Or maybe not so much of a loss”
Jin grinned back as the rest of the group snickered. They probably had their own thought about what was going to happen but they didn’t. Or at least Jin thought they didn’t know. They shouldn’t know. “Bye” he then said, raising his hand in a wave before he dragged Lizzy with him down another street.

They walked for a while before they came across a grocery store and something hit Jin. He probably should buy the necessary things needed just in case Kame had in a very rare moment of memory loss forgotten to bring it. He probably should buy Kame a small apology gift as well just in case the other was in a bad mood for being so late. He told Lizzy to wait while he ran into the store only to appear minutes later with a plastic bag dangling in his hand. She gave him a knowing smile and he just grinned sheepishly at her. Female friends could really come in handy sometimes when trying to fool the public and hide the true nature of his sexuality and his boyfriend since many years. Finding another great friend among his dancers had really made him happy, and not only because he could use her as a chaperon but because she really was a good friend something that wasn’t always easy to find.

“You have no idea how much this means to me. Us” Jin said as they stepped out on the right level of the hotel. “You’re really are the best”
“Shut up and just go to him. You’ve kept sweet Kame waiting far longer than you should have” Lizzy shoved him playfully in the shoulder with her fist. “You’re a lousy boyfriend”
“Am not” Jin pouted trying to shove her in return but she managed to take a step back before he could touch her.
“I know, I know. I’m just kidding” She giggled and then turned serious. “Now stop wasting valuable time and go to him.”
“Thanks” Jin said again. “Really, thank you”
“Yeah, yeah. Thank me tomorrow instead by buying me breakfast” she smirked and then stepped into the elevator again to get up to the room they had checked in for her to use for the night. Jin smiled as waved goodbye at her before he made it down the hall to get to the right room.

He woke up to the sound of a soft knock and he slowly rose from the bed, putting his book away on the bedside table and took of his glasses. He’d fallen asleep sometime while reading and according to the book he had only read 10 pages before it happened. He yawned, stretching his arms above his head and then there was another knock on the door. A louder knock than the one that had woke him up just a moment ago. He padded across the carpeted floor and when he opened the door he was met by a smiling Jin holding out a bottle of his favourite soda. Jin opened his mouth to say something but closed it again before anything came out. They just stared at each other for a moment without saying anything. Kame didn’t know why they did that, maybe it was because they hadn’t seen each other in a couple of weeks.

“I woke you up” Jin broke the silence by stating the obvious and Kame didn’t bother to reply with words. Instead he grabbed Jin by the arm pulling him inside the room and closing the door. They moved in closer, leaning in for a kiss but Kame twisted his head to the right as he felt the smell of smoke reeking from Jin and the other’s lips ended up on his cheek.
“You’ve smoked” Kame frowned in disappointment. He might enjoy taking a smoke on very rare occasions but he really despised the smell coming with it.
“No, I haven’t” Jin replied and Kame could tell that it wasn’t a lie. He knew Jin well enough by now to tell when he was being lied to and Jin wasn’t stupid enough to lie about things like that any more. They were both smarter now than years before and would never lie about petty things that could lead to stupid arguments.
“You smell like smoke” Kame leaned in to sniff Jin’s hair but pulled away quickly his face scrunched up in disgust.
“Well duh” Jin rolled his eyes at him. “I’ve been out partying and I’ve been in the company of Ryo, what do you expect?”
“You’ll have to take a shower” Kame freed himself from Jin and then picked up the bottle from the floor. “The smoke scent if definitely a mood killer”
“Will you join me in the shower?” Jin asked with a soft smile holding out his hand.
Kame eyed him for a moment, pretending to think hard over the question while he took a sip from the bottle and then grabbed Jin’s hand.

The end.
