Akame drabble

Summary: A morning with Jin, Kame, Ran and Jelly.
Disclaimer: I own nothing but the plot and Kame owns the dogs.
A/N: It’s been a while since my last drabble, but here you have one. Inspired by a random word in the dictionary, this time the word being, as the title say, Morning. I wrote this while lazing by the sea with my family. I’ve picked out a few words and written them down in my small notebook so that I always have something to get inspiration from wherever I am. I hope you all will enjoy this fluffy drabble (^____^)V
He lifted a hand to shield his eyes from the piercing sunlight coming in through the window as he slowly woke up. A dull pain in his head told him that he had gotten a little too much to drink last night but as far as he could remember it had been a good night. He yawned and as he looked around the room he realized that he wasn’t in his own bedroom. Had he not recognized the room so well he would have freaked out but as it was now this was a bedroom he knew almost as well as his own. He strained his ears slightly to listen for any kind of sounds from the rest of the apartment and smiled as he heard the faint sound of a voice he knew by heart and happy barks from two small dogs. He could tell that the voice was trying to calm the dogs down but they seemed to be in an extra good mood that morning and wouldn’t stop barking.
He was just about to close his eyes again too sleep the pain in his head away when he heard the sound of the bedroom door creak open and he turned his head to look at the newcomer.
“Morning” he murmured and gave Kame a soft, lazy smile. Kame smiled back as he walked into the room, a glass of water in one hand, the other hand slightly enclosed and the two dogs trailing behind him with their tails wagging.
“Did we wake you up?” Kame asked sitting down in line with Jin’s knees on the bed and handing over the glass as well as the small white pill that had been hidden in his other hand to Jin. The dogs jumped onto the bed as well, Ran settling down next to Jin and nuzzling his head against his side while Jelly made himself comfortable next to Kame and resting its small head on Kame’s thigh.
“No, the sun did” Jin replied after he had swallowed the painkiller.
“Good” Kame replied with a small nod as he started to stroke Jelly’s head. “So did you have fun last night?”
“As far as I can remember yes” Jin put the glass away and then started to stroke Ran’s back. “But I guess I drank too much. It’s a wonder I even managed to get here”
“Yamapi and Ryo actually came and dropped you off” Kame smirked. “You probably wouldn’t have made it otherwise”
“Oh, I’m sorry. Were you asleep? Did they wake you up?” Jin felt a pang of guilt at the thought of waking the other up late at night when he knew just how precious sleeping time was for the other. Had he gone there by his own he would have just sneaked inside with the help of his own key to Kame’s apartment.
“Yeah, but don’t worry” Kame reassured him and moved his hand to pat Jin’s knee instead. “I have today off and no plans so it’s okay. However had it been any other night I might’ve let the dogs lose on you and our friends”
Jin let out a soft chuckled, glad to hear Kame wasn’t mad at him or his friends, and then started to scratch Ran behind the ears.
“They would never hurt me on purpose. Right, Ran-chan?” The dog didn’t reply but nuzzled its nose in closer to Jin.
“Don’t underestimate the power I have over my dogs Akanishi” Kame grinned and then lifted Jelly up to hold him close to his chest. Jelly started to lick Kame’s jaw and neck right away and caused a soft giggle to escape his owner’s lips. “They can be very scary when I want them too”
“I’m sure they can” Jin smiled with a soft glint of mockery in his eyes as he then shuffled slightly to get deeper down underneath the blanket again. Ran whined slightly at his shuffling but soon found a new position. “Now move your ass and get into bed with me”
“Don’t say such dirty things in front of my babies” Kame hit Jin rather hard on the knee with his fist and made the later wince slightly.
“Ouch, I didn’t mean it that way.” Jin complained. “I didn’t suggest that we would have S-E-X with them in the room. Not even I am that bad. I just thought we both should catch some more sleep”
“Oh” Kame looked dumbfounded and then smiled sheepishly. “Sorry for hitting you”
“Just lay down in bed” Jin said and patted the space next to him and Ran. Kame smiled again and then put Jelly down on the bed. The small dog quickly moved over to Ran and made himself comfortable next to the older dog and rested his head on top of Ran’s back. Kame threw a glance at the alarm clock on the nightstand before he crawled onto the bed and laid himself down and pulled the blanket over himself. Both Jin and Kame moved in closer, trapping the small dogs between their bodies but making sure not to make it uncomfortable for them. They ended up lying on their sides and their faces only inches apart.
“Thank you for letting me in last night” Jin said and reached out a hand to stroke Kame’s cheek. Kame just smiled and then they leaned in further to share their first kiss of the day.
“Let’s get some sleep now” Kame said as they drew apart again but their faces still remaining close to each other’s. Jin nodded and closed his eyes again and a moment later he fell asleep to the steady, peaceful sound of Kame’s, Ran’s and Jelly’s breathing.

which I am hoping will not be the case and I won't even consider it being true until I hear it coming directly from Jinthat I will stop writing fluffy Akame.
