A/N: Took help of my dictionary again since I was in the mood for writing (well I am almost always in that mood) but didn’t know what to write. I hope you’ll enjoy this (^___^)
Coffee
Kame smiled as he watched Jin working with his guitar and sheets of paper in the living room from the doorway to the living room. A small frown was decorating Jin’s tired looking face as he was deep in thoughts about something. He scribbled and scratched out things on the papers. Tried a few chords on the guitar and slowly a, to Kame new melody hit his ears. It was a soft melody and Kame liked it right away. Jin stopped playing again, raising the pen to his mouth and sucked lightly on it as he thought for a moment before he scribbled something new down on the paper. He tried out what he had written on the guitar again and this time the melody was more refined and clear. Whatever it was he had changed clearly was an improvement and Jin seemed to be happy with it as the frown disappeared and a small grin appeared instead. Kame smiled again before walking into the kitchen to make Jin a cup of coffee.
“Here” Kame said moving some of the still blank papers away from the coffee table before he put down the cup of steaming coffee on it.
“Thank you so much” Jin beamed like a little child putting his guitar away on the empty space on his left side of the couch. “Coffee is just what I needed”
“I figured so” Kame smiled sitting down on Jin’s other side. “You’re going to stay up late working tonight?”
“Yeah, I wanna finish this song I just started on” Jin said taking the cup off the table and blew on it to cool the liquid down a little.
“It's a nice melody” Kame commented sinking deep down into the soft couch cushions and making himself comfortable. “Anything in particular that was the inspiration for it?”
“Yeah, this” Jin said making a sweeping movement to point at everything in the room.
“This room?” Kame raised an eyebrow at Jin as he turned his head to look straight at Jin.
“No, well yes, but more like the feeling of peace, safety and love this room provides me with” Jin said a serious and thoughtful tone in his voice. “This is where I am feeling the most comfortable, especially when you are around brightening up my mood with small gestures like this”
He smiled and wiggled the cup in his hand slightly to show Kame what he meant.
“You always know what I need before I do”
“I guess I’m a bit psychic” Kame replied tilting his head to rest it on Jin’s shoulder. “My sixth sense”
Jin just chuckled in reply before he took cautious sips of the still steaming coffee.
They fell into a comfortable silence and Kame moved his head slightly so that he could plant a kiss on Jin’s shoulder. The fabric of Jin’s worn out t-shirt felt soft against his lips and the smell of it was intoxicating. The smell that was so Jin mixed with the smell of the fabric softener that Jin had picked up in one of the foreign goods supermarket a while ago. Kame smiled and closed his eyes suddenly feeling very tired. He opened them a moment later though knowing that he shouldn’t fall asleep on Jin like this since the other needed to work. He lifted his head up from Jin’s shoulder but his boyfriend’s hand was soon resting on the side of his head pushing him back down.
“Sleep” Jin said in a soft but commanding voice. “I’ll carry you to bed when I have finished up the coffee”
Kame knew better than to protest when Jin sounded like that so he just made himself comfortable against Jin’s shoulder and curled his legs up underneath him as well.
“Sweet dreams” Jin whispered and planted a soft kiss on top of the other’s hair. Kame smiled and closed his eyes again slowly drifting off to sleep at the soft sound of Jin sipping away on his coffee.
